The Tatzelwurm is a legendary creature from the Alpine regions of Switzerland and Austria. It is described as a stubby, serpent-like being with the face of a cat and small limbs. Sightings date back to the 1700s, often from hikers and farmers. Though no physical evidence has ever been found, it remains a staple of Alpine folklore and cryptozoology.
