The report
In 1906, the SS Valencia struck a reef off Vancouver Island during a storm. Rescue efforts failed, and over 100 people perished. In the years that followed, sailors and locals reported sightings of a ghostly ship near the wreck site, sometimes described as crewless or with skeleton-like figures on deck. A lifeboat from the Valencia was found adrift 27 years later, seemingly untouched by time.
