The report
The SS Ourang Medan allegedly sent out a distress call in the late 1940s, reporting the entire crew was dead or dying. When rescuers arrived, they found the crew's corpses frozen in terror, with no apparent cause of death. The ship exploded shortly afterward. The story remains unverified, with some considering it a maritime legend.
