The report
The Joplin Spook Light, also known as the Hornet Spook Light, is a ball of light that appears in a remote valley near the border between southwestern Missouri and northeastern Oklahoma. The phenomenon has been reported since the late 19th century. Despite investigations by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and paranormal researchers, its origin remains a mystery. The light reportedly bobs and weaves in the air, often vanishing or changing colors.
