The report
In late 1948 and early 1949, military pilots and scientists reported bright green fireballs over Los Alamos and Sandia Labs. These sightings prompted official investigations by the U.S. Air Force and government scientists. Unlike meteors, these objects were said to move on straight trajectories and stop midair. Their origin remains unexplained.
