The report
Stirling Castle is reputedly haunted by several ghosts, the most famous being the Green Lady. Believed to be a maid of Mary, Queen of Scots, she is said to have died in a fire while saving her queen. Her spectral figure, in green dress, is still reported by staff and visitors today, making her one of Scotland’s most enduring castle apparitions.
