The report
The SS Baychimo was a cargo steamer abandoned in 1931 after getting trapped in Arctic ice near Alaska. Despite being left behind, the ship was sighted multiple times over the next 38 years, drifting through icy waters with no crew aboard. It became one of the most well-known modern ghost ships.
