The report
In November 2004, several UFO sightings were reported by military personnel aboard the USS Princeton and USS Nimitz off the coast of San Diego. The crew reported seeing objects moving at incredible speeds and performing maneuvers that defied known physics. The encounter was captured on radar, and fighter jets were deployed to investigate. The UFOs were described as tic-tac shaped, and the incident was made famous by the release of the now-iconic 'tic-tac UFO' footage in 2017. The USS Nimitz incident is one of the most well-documented UFO encounters in modern history.
