The report
On July 1, 1990, farmer Maurice Masse observed a UFO land on his lavender field near Valensole, France. As he approached, he saw two humanoid beings near the craft. After witnessing the beings and the craft, Masse reported that he felt disoriented and experienced a period of missing time. The UFO was described as a disc-shaped object, and Masse's encounter became one of the most famous UFO cases in France.
