The report
In 1978, Canadian government official Wilbert Smith, a radio engineer and UFO researcher, wrote a report on UFOs and the possibility of extraterrestrial life, based on information he obtained from the United States and other sources. His report, known as the Wilbert Smith UFO Report, suggested that the Canadian government had been actively investigating UFOs and that they had obtained materials that proved the existence of alien craft. This document became one of the key pieces of evidence in the Canadian government's UFO investigations.
