The report
On the night of October 4, 1967, multiple witnesses reported seeing a large, glowing object crash into the waters near Shag Harbor. Several subsequent reports indicated the UFO hovered over the water before it disappeared into the ocean. The Canadian government and military investigated the incident, but no definitive explanation was found. The case remains one of Canada's most famous UFO sightings, and it was even included in the official Canadian UFO report.
