The report
On September 19, 1961, Betty and Barney Hill were driving through rural New Hampshire when they claimed to have seen a bright light in the sky. The object reportedly followed them for several minutes before it landed on the road ahead. The Hills described being abducted by alien beings, subjected to medical examinations, and later returned to their car with lost time. The case became one of the most famous UFO abduction stories and was later studied by Dr. Benjamin Simon, a psychiatrist who conducted hypnosis sessions with the Hills. The Hill case remains a key event in UFO history.
