The report
In July 1972, residents of Louisiana, Missouri, reported a hairy, 7-foot-tall creature with glowing orange eyes and a terrible stench. Dubbed 'Momo' (Missouri Monster), it was sighted by children and later by adults near Marzolf Hill. The local police organized a search party but found no evidence. Unlike traditional Bigfoot reports, Momo was often associated with an unusually strong odor, and in some accounts, it was seen carrying a dead dog. Interest in the case led to continued investigations by cryptozoologists and a 2019 documentary film.
