The report
The Isle of Man is renowned for its fairy lore. Farmers report encountering perfect mushroom rings in fields, which local legend warns are 'fairy rings’—doors to the fairy world. Stepping inside is said to bring luck, but leaving the circle before time passes can cause enchantment or madness.
