The report
Houska Castle, built in the 13th century north of Prague, is said to cover a bottomless pit that locals believed to be a direct gateway to Hell. Legends tell of winged, half-human creatures emerging from the pit before the castle was constructed. Prisoners sentenced to death were allegedly lowered into the chasm as tests, many returning half-mad. The castle has long been associated with hauntings, strange apparitions, and occult practices during the Nazi occupation.
